Hanging around with my 3 yr. old niece has taught me many things primarily that my iPad is no longer mine and it belongs to her.  Luckily my parents have taught me how to share and with luck (or foresight) would have it I preload it with some educational apps! The newest to find itself on my iPad is 123 Kids Fun Games.

To sum up 123 Kids Fun Games in one word– “variety”. 123 Kids Fun Games includes  a massive chunk of educational content that covers many of the learning basics for a preschooler. It includes a simple alphabet game that has your child scrolling through the alphabet and hearing words that start with each letter. Learning numbers is done in a similar fashion. If you select “10” then ten moles pop up on the screen and each one can be tapped and counter out loud “1,2,3, etc”. ….there’s so much more content… teaching shapes, having fun with music, learning animals, to  even popping balloons to focus on motor skills.

Every “game” (I’m using this word loosely) is as bright as can be with simple character designs which will be appealing to the younger audience (I normally like to have my test monkey–uh, I mean niece–to know for sure but not this time around) and focuses on involving the child with interactivity.

The Bottom Line: 7.5 (Good)

123 Kids Fun Games is a really cute edutainment title that is packed with educational content.
