Whenever I visit a family member’s house (or if they come over to mine) they generally want to see pictures of my travels; I have my iPad on me at all times just chockfull of pictures! The problem though is that only a couple people get to see my iPad at once so there’s tons of passing around. Now with iMediaShare this issue is solved.
Sharing photos as well as videos is made extremely easy by allowing you to stream photos and videos right onto a TV. As long as you’re connected online all you need to do is open up iMediaShare and it’ll automatically find a device to sync up to. This can be a PS3, XBox360, Select TV’s and a handful of other media devices. After a couple button presses between your iDevice (this is also available on Android) and your media device and you’ll be synced up and ready to go! Seriously this is the easiest sync that I’ve ever done.
So what can you share that’s so important? Pictures of your kitten in hats! Besides embarrassing kitty pics, your whole picture library on your iDevice can be displayed as well as any videos (perhaps Uncle Karl dancing the Macarena) that you may have captured. iMediaShare can also log onto Facebook (as well as other social networks) and show off your photos online.
On the entertainment side of things, iMediaShare allows you to view online media channels and have them stream right onto your TV (again this is done in the same hassle-free way as sharing your own videos). There are more TV channels than I could list so instead I’m happy to say that my top favorite channels are all present from TED, Animal Planet, to the best channel of them all…The Onion News Network. Once you find a channel that you like, select it and lots of top videos will be loaded (most allow you to search as well). Tap on the one that you want to watch and now it’ll play on the TV. Sharing videos and photos can’t get much simpler than this.
Note: Due to certain restrictions with Apple, iMediaShare will be unable to play videos from your iTunes account.
