The first things that comes to mind with the mention of frisbee is frisbee golf, frisbee tag, as well as frisbee football. Now after spending some time with Frisbee Forever 2, I can now add this to that list.

Unlike any frisbee activity that has you tossing and catching frisbees, Frisbee Forever 2 doesn’t put its focus on catching and tossing, instead it’s all about navigating the frisbee in the air. Sure you’ll flick the frisbee in Frisbee Forever 2, but once that happens you’ll need to tilt your iDevice (or tap) in order to steer the frisbee through 75 courses that’s laid out from stars as well as hoops. It’s these stars and hoops that’ll keep your frisbee afloat and if you miss enough of them or go off course, you’ll notice that you’re frisbee will be making a quick landing. If this happens, and it will, you’ll have to retry that stage until you can navigate the frisbee to the finish line.

Besides going through hopes and collecting stars, there’s plenty of other hazards that’ll get in your way from fans, saw blades, as well as bombs. Because of these objects as well as the tight turns that you’ll come across in the later stages, the levels will need you to be quick as well as precise with every movement of your frisbee.

If you’re like me and find Frisbee Forever 2 on the easy side for the first 30 or so levels (not to worry it gets very challenging later on), there’s also plenty of objectives to complete that’ll give you that challenge that much sooner. These can range from hitting cardboard sheep, to even collecting a certain amount of stars in one level. What else can I say…oh yeah Frisbee Forever 2 is free and definitely one of the better apps out there that actually is free…yeah you don’t even need to purchase IAP. So again it’s free.

The Bottom Line: 8/10 (Great)

Frisbee Forever 2 isn’t the most innovative game out there, but it has great controls, graphics, as well as interesting course layouts. Oh and if you didn’t catch it…it’s free.
