As our long time followers are very aware, we here at AppStoreArcade are puzzle addicts. We love ‘em…especially if one has a new twist. Wow, will ya look at that…a new puzzle–Monster Cube! This game puts a 3D spin on the familiar match 3+ concept.

Monster Cube enters the 3D realm by having us match 3+ matching monster cubes in order to make them vanish. However, there’s an interesting spin on this that has you well…spinning a 3D giant cube that’s made up of smaller monster cubes. Tap on a monster cube and tap where you want to place it. If you match 3 or more cubes they’ll disappear which’ll revel more monster cubes underneath them. Continue spinning the cube by rotating the giant cube with your finger until you match all the final monster cubes or until the timer runs out. The games’ control of both the giant and smaller monster cubes is extremely well done and rarely did the game misinterpret my intentions.

If Monster Cube wasn’t already good enough, it get’s even better with the inclusion of missions. These range anywhere from fever mode x-amount of times, to reaching a certain high score. No matter the mission…they are all fun! Oh, and to reward you for completing the missions, the game will tack on more time which allows even higher scores!

The Bottom Line: 9/10 (Super!)

Monster Cube is easily the best match-3 game that we’ve gotten our grubby hands on for quite some time.
