iWordJuggle pits itself against other word games. You could even goes as far as to say that if iWordJuggle was an X-Men it would be Wolverine. Once you realize that iWordJuggle says “the hell with all of this”, it ignores most spelling game concepts and only follows one rule. Spell–but take your time. In other words (hehehe…) iWordJuggle puts the difficulty into your hands.

One of the first things you’ll notice is that you get to somewhat choose the letters that you will be working with. At the start of each game you’ll choose three out of fifteen words of various lengths. The letters in these three words become your playground and this is where the letter “juggling“ comes into play. How many words can you create with these three words? I hope you thought about that before you selected your word choices.

While there’s no particular goal to iWordJuggle, it encourages you to score as many points as possible. Racking up these points is practically identical to scrabble, so each letter has a set amount of points attached to it. You’re probably wondering…without a goal… when is the game over? That’s the beauty of iWordJuggle, if you don’t feel particularly attached to a certain round then there’s nothing stopping you from starting a new round.

The main downside with all this casualness is the lack of anything. (especially if you’re one of those goal-oriented personalities.) This will hopefully change down the road with future updates (achievements are on the way). Pushing this game into greatness would be more modes, or giving you the power to turn on/off certain rules. As of now I can only dream about what comes next.

The Bottom Line:

iWordJuggle offers a casual game to the spelling genre. If you’re one to need a challenge then this isn’t for you. Want a little brain exercise? iWordJuggle won’t disappoint you
